Out of Clifton and onto Tyrell Bay, Carricou where we clear customs and immigration into Grenada. We anchor in the bay close to the charted sunken wreck in the middle of the bay. No sooner is the anchor set when a boat next to us calls out “are you comfortable with this?” “Um, yes, or we wouldn’t be anchored here.” They’re thinking we’re too close. We have just come from Saltwhislte Bay on Mayreau, so it seems like you can drive a firetruck between the boats. In fact you can drive 2 ferries between our boats. We greet John and Darcy as they anchor behind us, and ensure us we are indeed not too close to anyone. While John and Steve are off at immigration to check-in, Grumpy Grandpa Salty Shorts, aka: GGSS (see pic below) comes alongside. In a Tim Conway voice he says “You need to respect my space by giving me 50 meters between boats when you anchor. My boat’s 29 feet long, and just because I’m little doesn’t mean you have to be so close.” We discuss our “closeness”, which is not close at all, agree Steve will re-evaluate our anchor position when he returns from immigration, and adjust if necessary. Steve agrees GGSS is full of it and that’s that…

Are we too close???

Until the next day when GGSS paddles over again and begins to give Steve hell about his “boundaries” and “Nautical maritime law” his words not ours. Anyway Steve basically told him to bugger off, while I told him to just be nice. We enjoyed (not really) 4 days with GGSS glaring at us as he paddled to shore and back daily. So why did we stay anchored in that spot? Just because we could.
After the 4 days we are out of Tyrell Bay and high tailing it to the big island of Grenada just outside of St Georges. Yay team Harmony!

They are everywhere! Even heaven…
